It starts with making a genuine connection from the first session.
My name is Kelly Firth, an Ottawa based registered psychotherapist who aims to honour the experience of all of my clients. I am motivated to support clients to deepen their self-understanding, navigate relationship challenges, and develop more compassionate ways of relating to themselves.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process designed to help you navigate life’s complexities by breaking unhealthy cycles and building emotional resilience. By providing an objective, non-judgmental space, therapy allows you to identify the root of your distress, develop effective communication tools, and process past experiences. Psychotherapy can help to move from feeling stuck toward a more empowered, authentic, and present way of living.
I offer psychotherapy services to individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, interpersonal relationship challenges, and relationship conflict. I am also an LGBTQ2S+ and ENM-affirming, and kink-friendly therapist. Finding a therapist who is the right fit is such an important part of the journey and I am here to create a safe space to support you with this step.
